Welcome to the Wilmington Breakfast Blog. This blog is the result of a challenge given to me by my good friend and Urban Lumberjack, Justin. We've been part of a men's breakfast meeting that has been meeting in Wilmington, Delaware for the past two years. We meet once weekly to discuss our lives, what is going on with each other, and ways that we can support and pray for each other.
The city of Wilmington is a great place to eat and over the past two years we've developed a good rotation of about ten restaurants that we frequent. However, a few months ago, Justin challenged me to find some new places. He wanted to go to new places that we wouldn't typically find ourselves at if it weren't for our group. At first I thought I had discovered most of the good places, but the more I dug and scratched various sources on the internet and on the streets, the more unexplored places I found. Within a few days, I found about thirty places that we hadn't yet visited. I figured, if we're going to meet every week anyway, lets add an element of adventure and visit every breakfast spot in the city over the next year.
So is the place to follow our breakfast adventures. Also, I hope this can be a resource to help others navigate around the breakfast scene in Wilmington.
